How to logout messenger on Iphone 6, 5, 7, 8, X

It was so frustrating last night while trying to sign out of messenger on iPhone 5s which belongs to my girlfriend. I couldn’t see any “log out” button to tap in the Facebook messenger app and I have to log out of the Facebook messenger to avoid stories that touch. ..lol
After googling for how to log out of messenger on iPhone, I was lucky enough to stumble on a  trick that worked for me and I am very sure it will work for any iPhone, be it iPhone 6, 6, 7, 8 or iPhone X.

So, What’s the trick?
Sign in to your Facebook account on a web browser eg Google Chrome browser.
Click on the drop down icon (if on PC) or the three lines “☰” (if on mobile) at the top right hand corner
Scroll down and click on Settings.
Click Security and Login.
Scroll to  the WHERE YOU’RE LOGGED IN section.
Click the “⋮” icon next to iPhone sessions.
Click Log Out and you can also log out of all sessions.
That’s all.
If you go back to Facebook messenger app, you will discover that you’ve been sign out of the app.
